Why are we happy?  Why are we not happy?
In this TED talk, Dan Gilbert, author of Stumbling on happiness, challenges the idea that we’ll be miserable if we don’t get what we want.

Transform your performance at work

Three one day courses from TEN

15 November 2007
We are more than we think—how to work effectively

13 December 2007
Pulling together—the secrets of successful teams

17 January 2008
Serve to lead—how to get the best from people

Trainers:  Jeremy Marchant and Kay McMahon
Location:  Marriott Royal Hotel, Bristol

The programme covers communication, leadership, teamwork, self improvement, business relationships and many other topics. These can often appear ‘fluffy’ and unfocussed topics. It can be difficult to see how to apply learning about these subjects, however interesting, to day to day work.

Our courses are firmly situated in delegates’ reality:  the business, the office, team meetings, client briefings, negotiation with suppliers and so forth. The courses will contain a wealth of case histories, and ideas of how to apply the principles in day to work.

Each course comes with a free one to one coaching session to consolidate learning and help delegates apply it to their own work.
